MAURITUS HOTELS – FAQ PAGE

If you already know the hotel in which you would like to book a stay, type the hotel name in the search bar, select the hotel from the search drop down menu and select the check in & check out dates, and the number of rooms you require.

If you are still searching for hotels, then you can explore our hotels by selecting the:

  • Region or Hotel Name from the search drop down menu
  • Check in and check out dates
  • Hotel star rating
  • Number of rooms
  • Hotel theme (Hotel Type)

…before clicking Search. Similarly, you can click on Map Search to discover hotels all around the island and selecting the hotel, by clicking it on the Map.

Our reservation process very simple. Once you have found the hotel you would like to book, select the Book Now option. Fill in the form, and a member of the MauritiusHotels Team will get back to you.

Be sure to fill in the form with all the required and relevant information, such as your name, country of origin, contact details, check in and check out dates as well as any special requests – airport transfers, honeymoon, special needs etc.

You will find a field on the Reservation Form for such requests. Please note that we cannot guarantee that your requests will be granted because they are subject to availability.

All rates displayed are per night and per room. Carefully review the room descriptions.

Our services are free of charge. There are no additional costs other than the indicated prices.

Check the Promotions tab for all Hotel Promotions, Discounts and Special Offers. Fill out the form with your name, contact information and details regarding the hotel, type of offer or promotion you are interested in. A member of the MauritiusHotels Team will get back to you.

Once you have received your quote and are happy with it, the MauritiusHotels team will contact you for payment. You can pay through either PayPal, Credit Card (Visa/ MasterCard) or Bank Transfer.

We take online security very seriously. MauritiusHotels understands the importance of keeping personal information confidential and secure.

All payments are PCI DSS compliant meeting all requirements to ensure a secure environment.

We collect Personal Data that you provide to us while using the Site. Personal Data may include your name, address, phone number, credit card number or e-mail address. We therefore make it our highest priority to ensure that we look after your Customer Information and use it responsibly.

In the unlikely event, that you do not receive your booking confirmation, please send us an e-mail on info@mauritiushotels.mu with your booking details including, Full Name, Hotel Name, Check In & Check Out dates, the date you confirmed your booking and other relevant details.

If you would like to change or cancel a booking, then please let us know as soon as possible by sending us an email info@mauritiushotels.mu, providing us the details of your booking and the request for the change.

Please note that MauritiusHotels do not charge any cancellation fees, but the hotel’s cancellation policy will apply.

The conditions will be available on your confirmation email or as stated at the time of booking. Each hotel will have its own terms and conditions for cancellation of confirmed reservations. You are, therefore, strongly advised to read the terms and conditions, before making your reservation. You will be bound by such terms and conditions once your reservation is confirmed.

To minimize any penalty or charges payable, we suggest that you should promptly and directly contact us to proceed with your cancellation by emailing us. Please note that Credit card fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

We strongly recommend that you take an insurance contract covering the expenses of cancellation fees and an assistance contract covering certain risks, in particular the costs of repatriation in the event of accident or illness.

It lies in your responsibility to be in possession of valid travel documents. Come countries have certain Visa Requirements in Mauritius. You can find out more here:

Concerning health requirements -you should contact your GP or a vaccination centre for details of the measures you will need to take prior to departure.

Generally hotel rooms will not be available before 14h00, and are to be vacated between 10h00 and 12h00, irrespective of your arrival or departure times, unless stated otherwise. Should you wish for your room to be ready prior to 12h00 on your day of arrival or available after 12h00 for an afternoon or evening departure, it is possible to reserve the room at the time of booking at an extra cost.
